The 11th GDI Forum, which will be held in person at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, will follow the model of previous editions, with a program that will extend over two days.
There will be technical workshops, flash talk sessions to demonstrate and present projects and best practices, a Café with Data and discussion panels on emerging topics, among other new features.
The annual event of the GDI Forum aims to bring together and energize the community of professionals and researchers involved in activities supporting the management of research data in order to develop technical skills, capitalize on knowledge and practices, and promote knowledge about national initiatives.
It is a training and debate space for sharing ideas, emerging initiatives, projects and good practices to support the management of research data that seeks to bring together managers of digital repositories and data centers, information technicians, libraries, archives and data curators, IT specialists, researchers, data scientists and science managers from research institutions and science funding bodies.
All interested parties are invited to submit proposals for presentations(flash talks and posters) by September 11th.

The event is being organized by FCT, through FCCN - FCT Digital Services, and the University of Minho, and is being promoted as part of the activities of RCAAP - Portugal's Open Access Scientific Repositories. The 11th GDI Forum is part of investment RE-C05-i08 - Ciência Mais Digital, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
