The Association for the Promotion and Development of the Information Society (APDSI) is organizing a series of webinars dedicated to the digital service of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) Arquivo.pt, developed by the FCCN.

There will be a total of four sessions dedicated to the preservation of cultural memory published on the web, from March 20 until April 1, 2025. Each session will feature a spokesperson from the Arquivo.pt team, who will discuss the service's main advantages and help everyone make the most of this tool in their daily lives.

Program:

March 20 | "Arquivo.pt: a new tool to search the
past", with Daniel Gomes, manager of Arquivo.pt
March 25 | "To publish well, to preserve well", with Pedro Gomes, head of collections at Arquivo.pt
March 27 | "Automatic access and processing of preserved web information through APIs", with Vasco Rato, web developer at Arquivo.pt
April 1st | "Archiving the web: do-it-yourself!", with Ricardo Basílio, digital curator at Arquivo.pt

The webinars are free, take place online from 3pm to 4.30pm and require prior registration. To attend, simply register using the form provided by APDSI.
