The Foundation for Science and Technology's digital service, developed by FCCN, won the award in the "Promoting a more Innovative and Digital Society " category. 

Promoted by the Association for the Promotion and Development of the Information Society (APDSI) and supported by Oracle, this initiative recognizes and disseminates best practices in the adoption and implementation of information and communication technologies, with a view to a more digital society sustained by public and private institutions that are more efficient and closer to the citizen. 

3 categories, 3 big winners

In this 4th edition of the Digital Transformation Prize, the best projects were awarded in three different categories: "Effectiveness/Efficiency of Organizations", "Proximity to Citizens and a More Inclusive Society" and "Promotion of a More Innovative and Digital Society".  

Arquivo.pt was the winner of the last category in the competition, which also included the finalists Balcão e-Clic, a project by the Instituto de Informática, and the Sistema Regional de Informação Cadastral, an initiative developed by the Direção Regional do Ordenamento do Território.  

The Foundation for Science and Technology's service allows everyone to "Travel back in time" by searching and accessing web pages archived since 1996, which are no longer available. 

The awards ceremony took place on December 3, today, at 3:30 p.m., at Oracle's premises in Lagoas Park.
