In 2025, the FCCN Days will be held in Coimbra, from May 6 to 8, at the Convento de São Francisco. Those interested have the opportunity to take to the main stage of the meeting and present innovative work in the Community Zapping session. Applications for this event are open until March 14.
The Community Zapping event will take place on the morning of May 7 in the Grand Auditorium of the Convento de São Francisco. This initiative aims to bring to the stage innovative projects, services or activities that relate to one of the areas highlighted at the FCCN 2025 Conference: Connectivity, Computing, Collaboration, Knowledge and Security.
Who can apply
Any student, researcher, teacher or employee of a Higher Education or Research Institution belonging to RCTS can join in as a speaker and present their work. Each presentation lasts about five minutes and must be given in clear, objective language.
Interested parties must submit their proposals by March 14, by filling in the application form. Once the expression of interest period has closed, the submissions will be evaluated by the FCCN 2025 organizers.
About the FCCN 2025 Conference
The FCCN Days are the central event and annual meeting point for the various communities of managers and users of advanced computing and communication platforms and other digital services for the higher education and research community, made available by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) through the FCCN.
This year, the meeting has the close support of the University of Coimbra and Coimbra City Council and, in addition to sharing knowledge, allows all participants to contribute to the dialog on emerging themes and technologies, as well as news related to FCCN's areas of activity.
Registration for the meeting is still open, so anyone interested can reserve their place on the registration platform.
