Registration is now open for the EuroHPC User Day 2024which will take place on October 22 and 23, 2024, at the iconic Eye Museum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This year's event is organized by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, in collaboration with the NCC Netherlands. The second edition of the EuroHPC User Day will bring together the community of users of EuroHPC systems, providing a unique forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences.
The importance of this event has already been recognized by FCCN, the digital services of the Foundation for Science and Technology, as a unique opportunity for the Portuguese advanced computing community to make contact with experts and peers from all over Europe.
After the success of the first edition, this year the organization is offering a platform for participants to present projects carried out with access to EuroHPC supercomputing resources, including the Portuguese petascale supercomputer, Deucalion .
Paper Submission
EuroHPC JU invites users of the various EuroHPC systems to submit communication proposals. The articles should detail the projects and their results, highlighting the use of the computational power of EuroHPC systems.
It is recommended that papers do not exceed 10 pages and that they demonstrate scientific excellence in the chosen thematic fields. A review panel will evaluate the submitted papers and, if selected, in addition to being presented at the conference, they will also be published in the Elsevier Procedia Computer Science of EuroHPC User Days 2024 Book of Proceedings.
A he submission of proposals runs until July 19, 2024.
