The GÉANT Innovation Program drives and funds innovation and research projects within different topics of the GÉANT community. Applications are now open to the entire community linked to national research and education networks, and interested parties can submit their projects until February 14, 2024 .
The projects should focus on areas such as multimedia, networks, education, cloud, security, privacy, eHealth, among others. In total, GÉANT has a budget of 300,000 euros to support the selected projects, each of which can receive funding of up to 50,000 euros, with a maximum duration of six months.
Who can apply?
Eligible for funding are national European research and education networks - in Portugal's case, FCCN - and all the entities they serve (universities, research institutes, among others). So, if you belong to the RCTS Community at FCCN and have an innovative idea that you would like to see funded, share it with us.
Those interested must apply by February 14, 2024. All the information about the program can be found on the GÉANT website, including an application guide and a timeline detailing the deadlines involved.
