The workshop, which takes a hybrid format, is compulsory to register for and is aimed at anyone who wants to learn about and align their activities to benefit the national 2030 Agenda.
Since 2018, BAD, Libraries for Development and the 2030 Agenda, and DGLAB, the Directorate-General for Books, Archives and Libraries, have been promoting the "Libraries: Development and the 2023 Agenda" award. This recognition is aimed at projects developed by Portuguese public libraries, following the guidelines of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Event program
During the afternoon of May 27, at the Torre do Tombo, in Lisbon, there will be several moments that make up the initiative.
The program begins with a review of the "Libraries: Development and the 2030 Agenda" Award, followed by a session in which previous winners will share their experience .
There will also be a panel on "How to develop projects within the framework of the SDGs and in Libraries", as well as a session on how to apply for the prize .
